"ORB stands for Opening Range Breakout. It's stupid simple, and that's why it works.

Here's the concept. When the market opens at 9:30 AM, there's a period of chaos. Everyone's reacting to overnight news, premarket moves, futures data. For the first 15-30 minutes, the market is figuring out what it wants to do.

That 15-30 minute window creates a range. A high and a low.

The ORB strategy says: wait for the market to make up its mind, then trade the breakout.

If price breaks above the range? You go long. If price breaks below the range? You go short.

That's it. That's the foundation.

Now, I know what you're thinking. 'Max, that sounds too simple.' And you're right, there's more to it. But the core concept is that simple. Wait for the range. Trade the break.

Let me show you what this looks like on a real chart."

At 10:02 AM, price broke above the range. That's your signal. You enter a call spread. Defined risk. You know your max loss before you get in.

By 11:30 AM, the trade was up 60%. You close it. That's your paycheck for the day.

Total time watching charts: 90 minutes. Total time in the trade: about 88 minutes."


10:00 - Why 0DTE Options? (5 minutes)

"Now here's where it gets interesting. We trade the ORB using 0DTE options.

0DTE means zero days to expiration. These are options that expire the same day you buy them. They didn't used to exist for most stocks and ETFs. Now they're everywhere. And they're exploding.

14 million 0DTE contracts trade every single day. That's up 41% from last year. Almost a quarter of all US options volume is now 0DTE.

Why does this matter for you?

Three reasons.

One: Defined risk. When you buy a 0DTE call spread or put spread, your max loss is capped. You know before you enter the trade exactly how much you can lose. It's right there on the screen. No surprises.

Two: No overnight risk. The trade opens and closes the same day. You don't go to bed wondering what Asia's markets are going to do to your position. By 4 PM, it's done.

Three: Capital efficiency. A 0DTE spread on SPY might cost you $50-$200 to enter. Your max gain on that trade could be $300-$500. You don't need a $50,000 account. You can start with $2,000.

This is why everyday traders love 0DTE. You don't need Wall Street money. You need a plan."

By 11:45, the trade hit our target. We closed at $340 profit. That's a 4:1 reward-to-risk ratio on an $85 trade.

"Now here's one that didn't work. Because I'm not going to sit here and pretend every trade is a winner. That's what scam gurus do.

This day, price broke above the range, we entered the call spread. But it reversed. Came back into the range and hit our stop. Loss: $85.

But we knew the max loss was $85 before we entered. We were fine with it. One loss out of three trades. Net result for the week: $535 profit on $290 of total risk.

That's the ORB. Some days you win. Some days you lose. But the math works over time because your winners are bigger than your losers."


20-35 Minutes: Content Block 2 - Risk Management

20:00 - The 2% Rule (5 minutes)

"Okay, this is the part most YouTube videos skip. Because it's not sexy. It's not flashy. But it's the reason 80% of traders lose money and 20% don't.

Risk management.

I don't care how good your strategy is. If you're risking 10% of your account on every trade, you will blow up. Math guarantees it. Five bad trades in a row and you've lost half your account.

The 2% Rule is simple. Never risk more than 2% of your account on any single trade.

$2,000 account? Your max risk per trade is $40. $5,000 account? Your max risk is $100. $10,000 account? Your max risk is $200.

When you use 0DTE spreads for ORB trades, your max risk IS the cost of the spread. If a spread costs you $85, and your account is $5,000, that's 1.7% risk. Under the 2% limit. You're good.

This is what separates a trader from a gambler. The gambler bets big and prays. The trader sizes small and compounds."

"Here's how I think about trading, and it's probably different from what you've heard.

Most people think trading is about hitting home runs. Finding that one trade that makes you rich. That's gambling thinking.

I think about trading like a paycheck. You show up every morning. You do the work. You get paid. Some days the paycheck is bigger. Some days it's smaller. Some days you don't get paid at all. But over the month, the money adds up.

Let me show you what a week looks like.

That's a $5,000 account generating $572 in a week. Not every week will look like this. Some weeks you'll make $200. Some weeks you'll lose $150. But over a month, the math stacks up.

$572/week x 4 weeks = $2,288/month on a $5,000 account.

Is that guaranteed? No. Past performance is not a guarantee. But this is what consistent, disciplined ORB trading can look like when you follow the rules."


30:00 - The Three Rules (5 minutes)

"I want to give you three rules that you can use starting tomorrow morning. These are the rules I follow every single day. They're simple. Following them is hard.

Rule 1: Only trade the breakout. Don't anticipate.

The range is forming. You see it moving toward the high. You think, 'It's about to break out.' So you jump in early.

Don't do that.

Wait for the actual breakout. Wait for the candle to close above or below the range. Confirmation first, trade second. You will miss some trades. That's fine. You'll also avoid most fakeouts.

Rule 2: Use defined-risk spreads. Always.

I don't care how confident you are. Every trade is a spread. Every trade has a max loss you've accepted before entering. No naked calls. No naked puts. No 'I'll just hold and hope.'

A $100 spread that could make you $400? That's a trade. A $5,000 naked call that could 'probably' work? That's a gamble.

Rule 3: Walk away after the first 2 hours.

The ORB window is the first 30 minutes. Your trade should be on within the first hour. By 11:30 AM, you should be done. Close your charts. Go live your life.

The biggest account killers I see are people who make a good ORB trade in the morning, then sit at their computer until 4 PM and give it all back on revenge trades. Don't be that person.

Trade the morning. Take the paycheck. Go do something else."


35-40 Minutes: Transition to Pitch

Everything I just taught you? The ORB strategy, the 2% rule, the weekly paycheck system, the three rules? It works. I've shown you the charts. I've shown you the math. You could take this and go try it tomorrow morning.

Audience Setup

Step 1: Link YouTube Channel to Google Ads If not already done, link the Max Options Trading YouTube channel to a Google Ads account. This creates remarketing audiences automatically.

Step 2: Create Custom Audiences

Audience 1: Deep Viewers (Primary, Highest Priority) - Definition: People who watched 50%+ of any video in the last 90 days - Estimated size: 20,000-40,000 - Why: These are the most engaged viewers. Why Meta Second

Max's Instagram presence is massive. 535K personal followers, 54K business followers. But Instagram engagement is typically lower-intent than YouTube video watching. Someone who follows Max on Instagram may scroll past his posts. Someone who watches 50% of a YouTube video actively chose to stay.

Meta is the complement, not the lead. It catches the audience that lives on Instagram and Facebook but doesn't check YouTube daily. Different platform, different context, incremental registrations.

Audience Setup

Step 1: Set Up Meta Pixel Install the Meta Pixel on the webinar registration page. This allows tracking of registrations and building retargeting audiences of visitors who didn't register.

Step 2: Create Custom Audiences

Audience 1: Instagram Engagers (Primary) - Definition: People who engaged with @thebigdaddymax or @maxoptionstrading in the last 90 days (likes, comments, shares, saves, DMs, profile visits) - Estimated size: 25,000-60,000 (based on 535K + 54K followers and engagement patterns) - Why: Active engagers are the warmest Instagram audience. Higher intent. If no pixel is installed, skip this audience and prioritize pixel installation for future campaigns.

Audience 4: All Instagram Followers - Definition: People who follow @thebigdaddymax or @maxoptionstrading - Estimated size: 589,000 combined - Why: Broadest reach. Use in Phase 3 for volume. Many followers are passive but still recognize Max.

Audience 5: Registration Page Visitors Who Didn't Register - Definition: People who hit the registration page but didn't complete the form - Estimated size: Will build during campaign (requires pixel on registration page) - Why: Highest-intent audience. They were one click away. A reminder ad brings them back.

Why 60/40 YouTube/Meta Split

YouTube has the larger engaged audience (158K subs with 5.27% engagement vs. Instagram where followers are more passive). YouTube video viewers are higher-intent because they actively chose to watch trading content. Meta is the complement for people who follow Max on Instagram but don't check YouTube daily.

If early data shows Meta outperforming YouTube on CPR, shift to 50/50 or even 40/60. Let the data decide after Day 3.

Budget Pacing

Common Issues and Fixes

Issue 1: High impressions, low clicks (CTR below 1%) - Cause: Hook is not compelling enough, or audience is too broad - Fix: Test a new hook. Try the pain point angle ("Still guessing when to enter and exit?") if the results angle ("$35K to $1M") is underperforming, or vice versa. Narrow targeting to Audience 1 only.

Issue 2: High clicks, low registrations (registration rate below 20%) - Cause: The landing page is not converting. Too many fields, slow load time, or disconnect between ad promise and page content. - Fix: Simplify the registration form to first name + email only. Ensure the landing page headline matches the ad headline. Check mobile load speed (under 3 seconds).

Issue 3: CPR above $5 across all creatives - Cause: Either the audiences are not warm enough, the creative is not compelling, or the webinar topic doesn't resonate with the retargeting audience. - Fix: First, check audience composition. Are you actually reaching warm audiences, or did targeting drift to cold? Second, test a completely different creative angle. Third, if CPR stays above $5 after new creative, pause ads entirely. The organic strategy alone should deliver 12,000+ registrations. Paid ads at $5+ CPR are not efficient for a free webinar.

Issue 4: Ad fatigue (frequency above 5, performance declining) - Cause: The same people are seeing the same ad too many times - Fix: Swap in a fresh creative. Cut from different morning show footage. Change the text overlay. Or shift to a different audience segment.

Issue 5: One platform massively outperforming the other - Cause: Normal. One platform will almost always be more efficient. - Fix: Shift budget aggressively. If YouTube delivers $1.50 CPR and Meta delivers $4.50 CPR, move to an 80/20 or even 90/10 split. Don't force equal budget on an underperforming platform.
